Hulas Steel Industries Limited put up a modern facility, a 6HI cold rolling mill, to manufacture Cold Rolled Steel sheets in the coil. The plant is equipped with the most modern equipment from Japan, America & India. The line is capable of rolling from 0.09 to 1.80mm CR steel sheet in coils. The mill is equipped with automatic thickness gauge control from Electric Corporation of India Ltd. & DELTA TAU of America for control of thickness & flatness.
Automatic gauge control system ensures uniform & desired thickness. Material is heat-treated in bell furnaces in a controlled heat atmosphere for obtaining the required softness and maintaining a bright finish. The material then is skin passed and slit/leveled & cut to the desired length on an automatic cut to length line.
